“MY HUSBAND AND I OWN A 1936 HOUSE THAT WAS BUILT IN A CREEK BED WITH LOTS OF SURROUNDING HISTORY AND ENERGY FROM THE YEAR-ROUND FLOWING CREEK. THERE WAS ALWAYS A DARK FEELING THAT RESTED IN OUR HOME AND I COULD NEVER PINPOINT IT. I THOUGHT IT COULD HAVE BEEN DUE TO MANY REASONS: LACK OF SUN, OLD WALLS, THE CONSTANT CREAKING OF THE HOME SETTLING, BUT I NEVER FELT COMFORTABLE HERE AND NEVER SPENT THE NIGHT HOME ALONE. MY HUSBAND FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS FELT AN OLDER WOMAN, A SPIRIT, THAT CONSTANTLY NAGGED AT HIM WHILE ASLEEP AND EVEN AWAKE. SHE WAS VERY TERRITORIAL OF OUR HOUSE HE SAID AND GAVE HIM THE FEELING THAT WE WERE NOT WELCOMED. THIS PAST YEAR, DURING OUR REMODEL, WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD EVER HEARD OF THIS SPIRIT HE FELT. KNOWING HOW SCARED I ALREADY WAS OF THIS HOUSE OF OURS, HE DIDN’T WANT TO ADD ANY MORE FEAR THAN I ALREADY HAD, SO HE NEVER TOLD ME, UNTIL A FEW MONTHS AGO. THAT WAS WHEN I REACHED OUT TO ANNALEE AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT RIGHT AWAY FOR A SPACE-CLEARING SESSION.
WHEN ANNALEE, PULLED INTO OUR DRIVEWAY, I RAN UP THE STAIRS TO GREET HER AND AS SHE ROLLED DOWN THE WINDOW, THE FIRST THING SHE SAID WAS, “WHOA, WHO’S THE OLD LADY?” (IT STILL GIVES ME CHILLS AS I THINK ABOUT THAT MOMENT) WE HAD NEVER DISCUSSED THIS LADY OR REALLY ANYTHING AT ALL. ALL I KNEW IS THAT THIS SPACE THAT WE WERE TRYING TO REMODEL AND MAKE OUR OWN, WOULD NEVER BE OUR SPACE IF THIS SPIRIT WAS GOING TO CONTINUE TO OCCUPY IT. ANNALEE, SPENT A FEW HOURS DOING HER PRAYER WORK AND ENERGY HEALING THROUGHOUT OUR ENTIRE HOUSE.
I CAN’T EVEN PUT IT INTO WORDS — THE LEVEL OF ENERGY, AND RESTORED BALANCE THAT FILLS THIS SPACE NOW. THERE IS THIS UNEXPLAINED LIGHTNESS THAT FILLS OUR HOUSE THAT IS SO EVIDENT WHEN YOU WALK INTO IT THAT NO NEW CONSTRUCTION COULD HAVE EVER BEEN DONE. WITH ANNALEE’S HELP AND GUIDANCE, SHE WAS ABLE TO CREATE AND CLEANSE A SPACE THAT WE CAN NOW CALL HOME.
